After arriving on Anticosti, settle into yout chalet, have lunch, meet your guide, sight your gun and enjoy your first gourmet dinner while on the island.DAY 3 - Enjoy breakfast and grab lunch before heading out on your first day of dawn to dusk whitetail deer hunting. After returning from hunting, relax over beers and hors d'oeuvres before meeting for a gourmet dinner with wine shared with other hunters to swap stories about the days' hunt.DAY 4 - Enjoy breakfast and grab lunch before heading out on your second day of dawn to dusk whitetail deer hunting, assuming you didn't shoot your two deer limit the prior day. Otherwise, you can spend the day practicing your deer calling techniques, target shooting, salmon fishing or just relax. After returning from hunting, relax over beers and hors d'oeuvres before meeting for a gourmet dinner with wine shared with other hunters to swap stories about the days' hunt.DAY 5 - Enjoy breakfast and grab lunch before heading out on your third day of dawn to dusk whitetail deer hunting, assuming you didn't shoot your two deer limit over the prior two days. Otherwise, you can spend the day practicing your deer calling techniques, target shooting, salmon fishing or just relax. After returning from hunting, relax over beers and hors d'oeuvres before meeting for a special gourmet dinner with wine shared with other hunters to swap stories about the entire hunt.DAY 7 - Enjoy breakfast and make sure your deer are skinned and packed before heading out to the airport to fly back to Montreal. Pick up your gear and deer from the plane before returning home. OUTFITTERCerf-Sau d'Anticosti Outfitters has been running hunting and fishing trips in the Chaloupe River and Bell River territories since 1984 and acquired the Bell River territory where this hunting trip will take place in 1999. Their two hunting territories, Chaloupe River and Bell River, cover an area of 1,060 km2 (425 mi2) and are situated in the south-east side of Anticosti Island. Seven salmon rivers are also located within their territories, including the famous Chaloupe River, renowned for its abundance of 8 to 10-lb. salmon (4 to 6 kg). Twenty-four (24) guides with support trucks and RVs will help you track the stags for your dream trophies. All of Cerf-Sau's guides are knowledgeable and have several years experience on Anticost Island with the company.
