In general, private homes are also more spacious, for instance, the Marco Island home has 1900 square feet under air, and around the pool area is another 1600 square feet, giving you plenty of room to move around in, plus there are three separate tables to eat at, change your table every day if you'd like. Another big problem with condos that you will NOT have in a private home is NOISE. In fact, 4 weeks ago, the big headline in the Naples Daily News Sunday paper was about condo rentals going out of control--landlords renting when they don't have authority to rent out so much time, and people partying and inviting transients in, causing much uproar in the buildings. Why condo it when you can live in a private home for your vacation? It's a no brainer. Location of your single family residential home is also important. If you see others listed that you are interested in, and don't know the area well, I'd be happy to answer any questions and provide you with an aerial shot of the location so that you can determine yourself, just how much privacy you will or will not have. You are only 1 mile away from the Caxambas public boat ramp, and 3 miles away to the Rte 951 public boat ramp. Some of the best fishing is right at your fingertips in the 10,000 Islands. The master bedroom is newly furnished with a high end Simmons Beautyrest Queen Size mattress and bed suite for the ultimate relaxation. Private bath. Second bedroom has a brand new Queen Simmons Beautyrest mattress, and new bedroom furniture, lamp, and draperies. Third bedroom has a new Double Simmons Beautyrest mattress, and is very tropical looking with mango walls, bamboo area rug, and tropical motif. Conveniently located so that you can also take day trips to Everglades City and take a nice swamp tour, Ft Myers where you can visit Thomas Edison and Ford's home and laboratory, the aquarium in Miami is about 2 hours away. Convenient to many airports. I typically use either Fort Lauderdale Hollywood airport and use Spirit or Southwest, and the Fort Myers (RSW) airport is also flying Southwest now, in addition to Spirit, and the other major airlines. I choose my airport based on the local fares. Both Spirit and Southwest, and JetBlue frequently have fares as low as $49 one way, sometimes $79 one way. The pool on the Marco home is really nice and big, you can do laps in it, which is unsual to have such a long pool in Florida, as so many of the pools are small. Not this one. This aerial shot will show you just how CLOSE you really are to the Gulf of Mexico from the Marco Island home, DEFINITELY within walking distance through the many openings along Collier Boulevard, but you are welcome to drive to many of the beach parking lots as well, which is sometimes easier if you're carrying coolers and stuff. The house is highlighted in yellow, and the big buildings and tennis courts that you see from the air along the water side, are the large upscale hotels that will charge you $250.00-$350.00 during the offseason, and $450 - $550 a night during the season. GULP. House is highlighted in yellow below, see how close you are to the beach? The Marco home has a pool, it is NOT on the water, but very close to two public beach entrances on the island. You are closest to South Beach, one of the nicest white sandy beaches on Marco! Marco Island is only 4 miles long, so you are very very close!!
