This idyllic lakeside community transports you to the 1880's heyday of upstate New York country retreats.  Located just across the lake from the Downtown Disney area, this peaceful oasis sits right in the heart of the Walt Disney World. Relax by taking a short boat ride to the Downtown Disney area for the best in shopping, dinning and entertainment.  There's also tennis, bicycle rental, and a children's playground and pools. The nearby spa and fitness center offers a full range of indulgences and Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is just a chip shot away! The studio Villa, which accommodates up to four people, has a kitchenette.  And laundry facilities are avaliable in the building. DISNEY MAGICAL EXPRESS SERVICE After a (possibly) long flight wouldn't it be nice not to worry about transportation to the resort?With Disney's Magical Express Service the worry is over.  Prior to your trip, you will be mailed an airport transportation booklet with bus vouchers and tags to attach to your luggage. Once you de-plane in Orlando International Airport go down to the ground level where you will be greeted by a Disney representative (usually wearing a big white Mickey Mouse Hand) who will direct you to the Disney Welcome Center counter.  After you check in with them; they'll politely direct you to your bus line.  Then simply get on the bus and enjoy the air-conditioned ride to the resort. Depending on traffic, it takes about a half-hour to arrive; however, they have an entertaining video about the different parks you can enjoy on the way! At the end of your stay Disney's Magical Express will return you to the airport.  You can pre-check your baggage at the resort for many airlines. DISNEY DINING PLAN The Dining Plan must be booked in advance of your arrival and must be purchased for your entire travel party (ages 3 and up) for your entire length of stay. If you want to purchase this option we will gladly add it to your reservation. The cost is $37.99 per each night on your reservation for guests 10 years and older and $9.99 per each night on your reservation for guests age 3-9 You will pay this to Saratoga Springs at check in. You will get a parking pass at check in but you really don't need other transportation. Walt Disney World has an excellent bus system that is more convenient and often much faster than driving from park to park. Yes, they are more than happy to assist you with that.  In addition, Disney's Magical Express will deliver your luggage right to your room. WILL I GET ALL THE SAME DISCOUNTS AS A DVC MEMBER? You will be treated the same as a DVC member at the hotel. However, you will not get the same discounts for park passes and meals( if your not using the dinning plan). A membership card is required for that. ARE THERE SMOKING ROOMS AVALIABLE? No. As of June 01, 2007, Disney owned and operated resort hotels and DVC resorts (such as Saratoga Springs) became smoke-free environments. This policy includes ALL guests rooms, balconies, patios, meeting spaces, restaurants, lounges and public space. Smoking will be allowed in designated outdoor smoking locations only. A room recovery fee will be charged for smoking in guests rooms, on balconies or on patios.  Upon check-in you will be informed of the policy.
