Description
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 You are bidding on travel advice from an experienced American Airlines traveler and as a bonus, you will receive two (2) American Airlines System-Wide Upgrades (VIP Upgrades) that can be used to upgrade from coach to business class or from business class to first class on most domestic and international flights. If you need additional advice (and upgrades) please contact me. My advice is pretty special, but my gift of upgrades is particularly cool!! Imagine basking in the comfort of extra space, perhaps even on lie-flat bed, while whisking away to a far-away destination. Totally sweet =) The flights must be on American Airlines, not code share airlines. All travel must be completed by February 28, 2009. WARNING: You must meet the requirements below. I am not responsible for those who cannot be upgraded due to unavailability or non-upgradable ticket. It is your responsibility to confirm availability of Upgrades. There will be no refunds. However, if your first trip is not upgraded I will work with you on your future trips until you are either upgraded or the upgrade expires, whichever comes first. How it works… 1. Before placing your bid, it is your responsibility to call American to book your Coach/Business itinerary and confirm that your ticket and flight are available for “instant upgrade confirmation” using an Electronic Systemwide / VIP upgrade. Explain that a friend will be sponsoring the upgrade as a gift and you would like to verify seat availability. Remember, the upgrades are a gift. For those friends of mine who are unfamiliar with American’s Systemwide / VIP upgrades, they are subject to capacity controls, and may not always be available to be confirmed instantaneously (may be subject to waitlist), even if there are unsold seats in the class you want to upgrade to. 2. Upon winning and paying for my advice, you must email me your name, record locator, American Advantage number, flight number, and dates of travel. I will respond within 24 hours to confirm that the upgrade has been applied successfully. 3. This upgrade is only valid for paid fares. Tickets using mileage cannot be upgraded, nor can tickets purchased at discount online travel agencies such as Priceline and Hotwire. Details on upgrades--are only valid on individual published-fare tickets. Upgrades are not applicable to AAdvantage travel awards; any free ticket; tickets booked in I or O Class; fares booked in Q between North America and Asia, Europe, India or South America; military or other government fares; opaque fares; infant tickets (including INF50 fares) or purchased extra seats. 4. Upgrades to certain international airports -- most notably London Heathrow and London Gatwick -- require an additional fee for upgrade -- these airports levy a government tax based on the class of service you are in, so you will have to pay a higher tax if you switch from a Coach to Business or from a Business to First Class seat. I will add this extra tax to your winning bid, if it applies (you may be required to make a separate Paypal payment to pay this tax, if applicable). All sales are final! If you have any question at all, contact me before placing your bid. This is an electronic certificate - there is no paper certificate. You will need to email me with your flight details as listed above. There will be no shipping involved. As soon as the gift is applied, no changes can be made.
